Pine Valley
A Day at Pine Valley is like a Day on Vacation!
Swimming Lessons

Each child will be evaluated at the beginning of their camp week and then placed in a group best suited to their ability. Special attention is given to non-swimmers and children who fear the water. Our staff will make every effort to build your child's confidence in the water and to help improve their swimming abilities. Basic Water Safety and Emergency Water procedures will also be taught. Lessons are optional for 11-13 year olds. Our program follows the American Red Cross guidelines.

Tennis

Campers receive USTA instruction, learn rules, and court etiquette. The children will be able to practice their skills in round robins, tournaments and games.

Recreation Program

We offer a wide variety of activities and incorporate many sports and games to challenge your child while they learn about team sports and sportsmanship. We offer wiffleball, kickball, basketball, volleyball, capture the flag, dodge, tennis volleyball, ultimate frisbee and much more.

Recreational Swim

Campers get to splash around and swim for fun in the pools everyday.

Arts & Crafts

This program lets the campers express their artistic abilities. Almost anything goes from painting and jewelry making to T-Shirt design and paper-mache.

Nature

We offer the children a time to learn about what's happening right outside on our 14 acres, as well as creating science projects and more.

Color Wars

An annual favorite held the next to the last week of camp. Campers are mixed together to form teams and compete in all sorts of wacky events and dress in their team colors to show who's the best team at Pine Valley. No tennis or swim lessons are given this week.

Wacky Week

The last week of camp is really wacky. From what we wear to what we do and it all comes to an exciting end with Wacky Wars. (Hint: It's really messy!) No swim or tennis lessons this week.

Pine Valley Survivor

A special program just for campers 11-13. Our version of the hit TV show runs throughout the summer. The final survivor wins a $500 Scholarship. Must attend a minimum of 7 of weeks and participate in at least 5 weeks of Survivor to be eligible for Grand Prize. Final week of Survivor is 3rd to the last week of camp.

Talent Show

The second week of July, parents are invited to come out and watch our annual talent show where the kids display their many talents.
